The Uncommon Cold: a dog’s perspective – the exhibition

June 21 @ 1:30 pm - June 26 @ 5:30 pm UTC+10

Free

The world is going to the dogs. Sit. Stay. Wash your paws.

COVID19 arrived in Perth via Corona virus carrying cruise ships in early 2020. A hard lock down had Sarah pivot her plans to a socially distanced approach. Seeking to flatten the curve her original book idea was shelved and The Uncommon Cold was exposed.

The Uncommon Cold series results from a view that the only ones benefitting from the new normal were the dogs. What better way to explore the expanding pandemic vocabulary than through the eyes of our canine companions?

This exhibition features selected images from the book, The Uncommon Cold: A Dog’s Perspective.
Sarah Matheson is a Perth based pet photographer and student at North Metro TAFE.
