ACT AIPP have invited multi-award winning photographer Keren Dobia, to speak to the ACT photography community about her work, her processes and how she is inspired to create her amazing award-winning artworks.

Keren Dobia is an accredited professional photographer and a creator of theatrical compositions. She has earnt the distinction of being named 2017 AIPP Australian Professional Photographer of the Year, and the 2019 AIPP Victorian Professional Photographer of the Year.
Keren Dobia is multiaward winning portrait photographer and a creator of theatrical photographic images. Heavily influence by her background in the visual arts her work often blurs the line between photography and illustration. Keren’s unique and distinct portraiture attracts commissions equally from advertising agencies, theatre performers as well as public care providers. With industry recognised post production skills Keren now lectures at Melbourne Polytechnic and RMIT along side her creative and commercial work.
Her artwork is influenced by her background in painting, drawing, and fashion, and her images often blur the line between photography and illustration. Keren’s creativity extends to the design and fabrication of costumes and sets. With a natural attention to detail and her industry recognised postproduction skills Keren moulds her inspirational work from concept to completion.
